As the brainchild of Marcia McCray, the Hug-a-Plush™ (HaP) brand consists of OOAK (One-of-a-kind) plush toy creatures that started as illustrations in 2009, designed to add warmth in the digital age.
With her desire to combine her artistic talent and sewing skills from her background in fashion design, Marcia’s vision expanded to include unique, brightly colorful, quirky, whimsical, adorable creatures invented to be loved, hugged, and to bring laughter and happiness into the world.
Her goal was to introduce children to a wonderland of original, odd characters and to encourage adults to recapture the joy and magic of childhood.
The Hug-a-Plush brand exists to incite fascination for a sense of warmth, reviving creativity and individuality in everyday life while continuing to promote the driving principles of Marcia McCray Omnimedia—quality, originality, and value combined with the core concepts of aesthetics and functionality.
